DGFEZ signed a business cooperation agreement with Yeungjin University on June 20, 2024. This agreement is aimed at establishing a joint cooperation system to strengthen regional competitiveness by attracting global companies and fostering customized human resources in preparation for the era of Mega City Daegu-Gyeongbuk (Administrative Integration).
The main contents of the agreement include:
1) Personnel exchange and information exchange to support cooperation between industry and academia
2) Mutual business cooperation to promote domestic and foreign investment attraction
3) Human resource training and international on-demand education for DGFEZ tenant companies
Through this agreement, joint investment attraction activities will be carried out for excellent overseas companies, and foreign-invested companies will stably foster and supply customized high-quality technical talents through cooperation with Yeungjin University when moving into DGFEZ.
Yeungjin University ranked first in the nation among junior colleges in a job statistics survey released through the Ministry of Education's university information disclosure in 2023, with an average employment rate of 80% over the past six years. They also noted that the overseas employment rate was also the first in the country, which is the result of the on-demand education system. Its on-demand education is a customized education system that receives orders for educational content and required manpower from industries, conducts education according to their needs, and helps them find employment.
