DGFEZ Signs Business Cooperation Agreement with Korea Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCCI)
  -  Full-scale administrative support and IR activities planned for Chinese companies
  -  Prospective investments to Suseong Medical District and Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District

Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (Director Lee In Seon, henceforth referred to as DGFEZ) signed a business cooperation agreement at 4:00 pm on May 21 (Mon) with the Korea Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Chairman Song Kuk Pyeong, KCCCI) in a push for attracting companies active in the greater China region.
According to the agreement, DGFEZ will cooperate with KCCCI in actively attracting potential investors to Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone and embark on a full scale effort to attract companies active in the greater China region by providing administrative support to KCCCI.
In return, KCCCI pledged to take advantage of its own network to find promising companies in Chongqing area that would be suitable for DGFEZ and actively participate in investment road shows in South Korea and other countries held by DGFEZ.
Given the global competitiveness of Chinese companies in future industries including abundant capital, ICT resources, medical and machine parts, Chinese companies are expected to play a critical role in attracting potential investors to Suseong Medical District and Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District
Lee In Seon said, "Upon signing the agreement, DGFEZ will expand its effort to attract foreign investors formerly focused on the U.S. and Japan to the greater China region, thereby enhancing its competitiveness as a special economic zone and creating jobs in the region"
