“DGFEZ”to lead in solving business difficulties and making inroads into new mark

“DGFEZ” to lead in solving business difficulties and making inroads into new markets!
 Ms. Inseon Lee, Commissioner of DGFEZ sent a trading delegate for Japanese comsumer goods, consisting of seven companies in DGFEZ consumer goods manufacturers for four days between December 11 to 14, 2018, who produced $9.414m for the amount of consultation and $8.07m for the estimated contracts.

 The delegate consulted with a total of 42 companies, and most of the buyers were middle vendors who provided new shops in large shopping malls like Amazon Japan or AEON MALL in Japan. Most companies who participated in the consultation showed high interest in the products, and many of them hoped for exclusive contracts.

 Particularly, INTIN co,.ltd who produce “the body fluid analyzers and analysis algorithm for smartphones“ sealed a MOU for product purchase with P company and K company who produce network products in Japan in the presence of Commissioner Inseon Lee. Also, the same company plans to seal the actual contract this year for the delivery and received a pre-order for export of up to $8m for the next two years at the same time with the MOU.

 Furthermore, Changbo co,.ltd who produce aluminum kitchen supplies received additional order of $50k from TJ’s buyer with whom they have been in business, and Seyeon Food who produce Japchae, instant frozen food and dried pollack and seaweed soup sealed an export contract of $20k with T company who produce and distribute Korean sausage and pigs’ feet in Japan.

 Meanwhile, on December 10 (Monday) before the delegates’ trip to Japan, DGFEZ had a meeting with representatives of the 22 International Fashion Design Zone resident companies on various business difficulties and solutions related to “illegal parking of large vehicles and cleaning and beautification near highways” inside the complex and agreed to find proactive solutions to these issues.

 Particularly, the delegates to Japan were participated by Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Daegu Research and Development Special Zone, and resident companies at DGFEZ as well as medical R&D zone also joined the delegates, celebrating the first case in which the DGFEZ and Daegu R&D Special Zone collaborated. Next year, the delegates to foreign countries in this format will be further expanded.

 Commissioner Inseon Lee who led the delegates to Japan actively promoted the excellent products and superior technical achievements of the products by local resident companies to foreign buyers and made effort in creating an environmnet in which local buyers can trade with trust.

 Furthermore, in tandem with the delegates to Japan, President Inseon Lee visited the Headquarters of THK Japan who invested on Samik THK as a new tenant in the Technopolis Zone in May this year and met Akihiro Teramachi, Chairman and CEO of THK to offer regards and ask for continuous investment in future.

 For the development and atttracting investment on the Suseung Medical Zone, the delegates visited advanced medical facilities, located in Kanagawa (near Tokyo) and Osaka, Japan and exchanges ideas with staff at cancer treatment facilities so as to seek for the development direction and feasibility review of the Suseong Medical Zone.

 Commissioner Inseon Lee at DGFEZ revealed that “while there are many companies resident in Daegu, including the Technopolis and International Fashion Design Zone among others, making products, but there is a growing demand on making inroads into new domestic and foreign markets and business support, and therefore, next year we plan to make our best effort for resolving issues with resident companies and increasing the frequency fo trade delegates as well as business support.”
