On 25^th last month, the Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Inseon Lee, DGFEZ) visited the Industrial Zone Maritza, Bulgaria, at the invitation of Plodiv, the second city of Bulgaria (Mayor Ivan Totev), and the Trakia Free Economic Zone Authority (CEO Plamen Panchev, TEZ).
 
DGFEZ toured the district that was being built by TEZ and agreed the collaboration and attraction between Bulgaria’s M Company, a promising resident company with the sales of KRW5 trillion in precision machinery and robot manufacturing and a construction machinery company at DGFEZ and a robot-related company at Technopolis.
 
The authority also discussed the expansion of scientific technology and cultural collaboration as well as economic cooperation during the interview with Mayor Ivan Totev in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, a sister city of Daegu.
