Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority has advanced into the Japan market jointly with Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Big Investment Presewntation Held in the Sister-city Hiroshima Japan - 

  Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Director: Do Geon-woo) held successfully the investment environment presentation in the 2016 Korea-Japan Economic Exchange Support Business Conference on the 8th in Hiroshima, Japan. This event held jointly with the Korean Consulate General in Hiroshima attended by 300 business people in the Hiroshima region and important people such as Hiroshima Mayor Matsui Kasumi to present the ways to vitalize Korea-Japan economic exchange and to introduce the superior investment environment of Daegu.  
 
  The delegation composed of businessmen such as Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority Director Do Geon-woo, Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice Chairmen Choi Woo-gak, Lee Jae-gyeong, and the interested people in the City Hall of Daegu spread active and differentiated promotion activities for attracting investments into the Daegu region, and immediately after the investment presentation, some enterprises showed strong intention to visit Daegu next month and conduct the actual inspection on the spot, creating a great sensation from the participants.     
 
  Director Do Geon-woo said, “For Daegu and Hiroshima with the 20th anniversary of establishing sisterhood relationship ahead in 2017, this event has become a starting point in earnest to expand the existing culture-, tourism-, and manpower exchange- centered activities to the field of economic exchange, and from now on, will make more practical and concrete cooperation cases between the two cities.”  
 
  Meanwhile, before holding the event, Director Do Geon-woo and Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry presidents visited the City Hall of Hiroshima and had time to talk with Mayor Matsui and discussed the ways for Daegu and Hiroshima to expand mutual business exchange and to derive more practical results and solidified the strong determination of the two cities to strengthen their future economic exchange cooperation.
