Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ) relocated its headquarters office on June, 18, from Samsung Finance Plaza to Daegu Trade Center located in Sincheon-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu.
Established in August, 2008, DGFEZ is designed to attract foreign investment to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region through 10 specialized industrial districts.
Moving to Daegu Trade Center, DGFEZ became the first tenant of the Daegu Trade Center occupying the 15th to 18th floor s (5,400 square meter of space).
Construction of Daegu Trade Center commenced in August 2009 and was completed in last February. The building houses 15 stories and seven underground levels on a 24, 195㎡site of the former DongDaegu Venture Center located on DongDaegu-ro. The building is designed to place trade-related organizations of Daegu-Gyeongbuk and create synergy by supporting trade business and promoting foreign investment.
“With relocating our head office, we can take advantage of Daegu Trade Center by providing foreign invested companies with one-stop service including import and export procedures and offering office space for companies planning to enter DGFEZ”, said DGFEZ Commissioner Byung-Rok Choi.
