DGFEZ, Supports innovative growth of local robotics and ICT Enterprises

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority held the "2022 DGFEZ Scale-Up Seminar for Robotics and ICT Enterprises" in Daegu, Hotel Interburgo, attended by 80 officials including robots and ICT-related institutions and companies.

This seminar was designed to support the growth of companies by sharing new technologies, exchanging and cooperating with institutions and companies in the robot and ICT fields, and experts presented topics and gave special lectures on various new technologies and trends in the robot and ICT fields.

▲(Topic Presentation 2) Bionic Interface – from basic research to commercialization (Kim Ki-hoon, professor in mechanical engineering at POSTEC)
▲(Topic Presentation 3) Policy direction to foster robot industry in Daegu-Gyeongbuk region (Yoon Sang-hyeon, researcher from DAEGU GYEONGBUK INSTITUTE)
▲(Topic Presentation 4) Upcoming era of the big data and cloud (Moon Jeong-wook, from Naver Cloud)
▲(Special Lecture) Human Relationship in the era of robots (Professor Bae Young-ho from Department of IT Convergence at Uiduk University)

Furthermore, six institutions which have actively supported enterprises within each district of DGFEZ(POHANG TECHNOPARK, Gyeongbuk Gyeongsan Institute of industry-university Convergence (GGIC),KMEDIhub, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), and Gyeongbuk Research Institute of Vehicle Embedded Technology, Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP)) and DGFEZ Authority signed an ‘MOU for supporting DGFEZ resident companies,’ and agreed to establish a close cooperative relationship to support innovation growth of the resident companies within DGFEZ.
