First Sale of industrial land in September, 2nd phase construction Project of Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District
 
The first sale of 2nd phase industrial land in Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District that leads the 4th industry revolution began last September.
 
The land to be sold this time is the 2nd phase of industrial land of the District, located in the Wachon-myeon area, Gyeongbuk Province, with a total of 10 lots and an area of 111,148(33,320 pyeong), as well as an average unit price of 285,879 KRW per square meter (945,049 KRW per pyeong).
 
The 2nd phase industrial land of the District will be developed as a complex of medical devices and their new materials along with automobiles and construction machinery parts.
 
About KRW 321.6 billion for the construction project will be invested, with the size of a total of 290,000 pyeong. The land development is full swing which is now 52% completely developed, aiming to be completed in 2023. In Gyeongsan Knowledge Industrial District, about 2,200 apartment houses, and detached houses, schools, commercial facilities will be built along with industrial facilities. And it is planned to be developed as a job-housing proximity complex city in which lights up in the evening and is full of vitality.
 
In particular, it is evaluated as for the business area with a transportation system in logistics and recruitment with excellent accessibility to Hayang housing sites with about 5,000 houses, Cheongtongwachon IC which is located 5 minutes away and metropolis according to the extension of Hayang line of Daegu city railway.
 
In particular, it is evaluated as an optimal condition for the business area such as superb logistics and manpower recruitment due to its excellent access to the large city by Hayang extension of Daegu Metro, neighboring Hayang housing sites with about 5,000 houses, and 5 minutes away from Cheongtong Wachon IC.
 
Meanwhile the 1st phase of industrial land of the District was developed as an industrial complex specialized in construction machinery part and its industrial land was sold out completely except some of foreign investment zone, attracting 151 companies. Currently, more than 100 companies are in operation.
 
It has also established the foundation of new growth industrial engine in preparation of industrial great transformation of the industry. For example, attraction of 7 large-scale national research institutes such as construction machinery and technology center, construction project of Gyeongsan educational-industrial convergence zone for creating ecosystem of an industry-academic cooperation, and recent designation of regulation free zone specifically for wireless power transmission.
