The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) hosted the “2025 DGFEZ Biohealthcare Investment Networking Day” on October 23 at Pohang Techno Park.
The event was attended by DGFEZ tenant companies, venture capital firms, and representatives from related organizations.
The event, hosted by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority and organized by Pohang Technopark, aimed to explore promising companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone possessing biohealth-related technological capabilities and business viability.
It sought to strengthen the competitiveness of tenant companies through investment attraction support, activate networking between companies and investors, and establish investment attraction channels.
Tissen Bio Farm, ANPOLY, Threebrooks Therapeutics, BioN, and INTIN were among the five companies selected through a public call which participated as IR companies.
And, the seven venture capital firms participated were Enlight Ventures, Quad Investment Management, iM Investment Partners, SparkLabs Partners, DG Tech Holdings, TWGF Partners, and Partners Lounge.
The event was structured as a valuable program enabling major biohealthcare companies in DGFEZ to communicate directly with investors and explore investment opportunities. It is expected to contribute to the development of the regional biohealth industry and economic growth through ongoing networking, mutual communication, and active investment consultations.
DGFEZ Commissioner Kim Byeong-sam stated, “We hope this investment consultation session will help biohealth companies in DGFEZ secure funding for technology commercialization and provide VCs with more investment opportunities. Our organization will continue to spare no effort in developing an excellent regional investment ecosystem and the sustainable growth of tenant companies.”
