The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) held an “Investment Promotion Briefing for Suseong Alpha City” at Hotel Peyto Gangnam in Seoul on December 10th, to invigorate investment attraction from ICT companies in the Seoul metropolitan area.

This briefing was designed to introduce the investment environment and incentives of Suseong Alpha City, known as the Silicon Valley of the Yeongnam region(Southeastern Korea), to ICT companies concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area. The goal was to raise regional awareness and attract investment for corporate headquarters and research facilities.

Particular interest was shown by companies possessing relevant technologies regarding the regional hub AX innovation technology development project, which will see a total investment of 551 billion won in Suseong Alpha City by 2030. There was also significant interest in digital transformation(DX) related projects through technological cooperation with local manufacturing companies.
