On Tuesday, January 6, at Yeongcheon City Hall, an investment memorandum of understanding(MOU) was signed to successfully advance Huade Korea Ltd.'s auto parts business. Attendees included the Acting Commissioner of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ), the Mayor of Yeongcheon, and the CEO of Huade Korea Ltd., according to the DGFEZ.
 
This agreement is for establishing an automotive parts production facility within the Yeongcheon Industry District. Huade Korea Ltd. plans to invest approximately $10 million from 2026 to 2031 to set up production lines for automotive actuators and door handles, creating about 150 new jobs.
 
As an automotive parts industry cluster, the Yeongcheon Industry District anticipates this investment will expand cooperation with existing tenant companies and advance the industrial ecosystem.
