The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority held an online investment attraction briefing session for pharmaceutical companies in Kansai, Japan.
On November 17, DGFEZ held an online investment briefing session for pharmaceutical companies in Kansai, Japan, to attract foreign investment related to the medical and bio industries, one of the core strategic industries in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone.
The investment environment of medical and bio industry-oriented districts such as Pohang Convergence Technology Industry District and Sinseo Advanced Medical District was introduced and a real-time Q&A session was held.
This investment attraction briefing strategically explained the investment districts in the medical and bio sectors of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone only for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, specialized industries in Kansai, Japan, as the bio-health industry is intensively fostering one of the government's innovative growth BIG3 industries.
"It was a good opportunity to attract investment in the medical and bio sectors, a key strategic industry of DGFEZ, while face-to-face overseas investment attraction activities were still difficult," said Choi Sam-ryong, commissioner of DGFEZA.
